Currently, more than 20,300 Manitobans have Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia. By making healthy lifestyle choices you may be able to reduce your risk and improve your brain’s ability to sustain long term health. This presentation will provide information on: What is dementia and the possible change, what factors increase the risk of dementia, what actions can be taken to reduce the risk and what resources are available in the community and those offered by the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
