Individual Counselling
Brief Focused Counselling
Offered for women who want to connect with a counsellor about current issues and/or resources in the community.
(Crisis and drop-in counselling are not available).
Ongoing Counselling
Offered for women who need support to deal with issues of trauma, domestic violence relationships, childhood abuse, body image, self-esteem, separation & divorce, coping, parenting and other related issues.
Group Counselling
Group counselling sessions involve focusing on issues within a group setting. The purpose is to connect women with similar experiences to one another. Group topics have included: self esteem, anger, assertiveness, positive coping and healthy relationships.
Child Counselling Program
Individual counselling for children between the ages of 4-12 who have witnessed and/or experienced any form of family violence (i.e. physical, verbal, emotional, sexual, etc.) This program gives children a safe space to talk about healthy relationships, coping, anger, anxiety, self-esteem, and other topics important to them. Referrals must be made by the child’s parent or legal guardian.
