Summer fun was in full swing this month as 50 wome Summer fun was in full swing this month as 50 women and children enjoyed a day at @assiniboineparkzoo ! 🦁 Thanks to free passes donated through United Way Winnipeg’s Dream Seats program, families were able to explore the zoo, enjoy time together, and make some great memories. With support from One Great Lottery, we were also able to rent a school bus so women and children could travel to the zoo together for free. This is a special event we look forward to every year. Last month, community members had the opportunity to step into the world of dance through a Beginner Jazz Dance Class led by Chelsea from @thisisgenesis.dance. The session provided a fun and welcoming space to try something new, build confidence, connect with others, and enjoy the many benefits of movement and self-expression.
