Finding joy through movement! Last month, communi Finding joy through movement!

Last month, community members had the opportunity to step into the world of dance through a Beginner Jazz Dance Class led by Chelsea from @thisisgenesis.dance.

The session provided a fun and welcoming space to try something new, build confidence, connect with others, and enjoy the many benefits of movement and self-expression.

A special thank you to Chelsea for sharing her time, passion, and expertise with our community. We’re grateful for community partners like Genesis School of Dance who help create meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, and joy.

We loved having you with us and hope to welcome you back again soon!

✨ Exploring reflection and creativity through Taro ✨ Exploring reflection and creativity through Tarot ✨

Community members recently joined Lori for a Tap into Tarot session, creating a welcoming space to slow down, explore new perspectives, and enjoy meaningful conversation.

Using tarot cards as a creative tool for self-reflection, participants explored symbolism, personal insights, and different ways of looking at their experiences. The session offered a chance to pause, practice mindfulness, and engage in thoughtful discussion.

A heartfelt thank you to Lori for sharing her time, knowledge, and energy with our community. We’re grateful for facilitators who bring unique experiences and engaging activities to FGWRC.

Thank you for being part of our community! 💜

🍿🎬 Creating moments of connection through Outreach 🍿🎬 Creating moments of connection through Outreach

Thanks to the support of a community grant, our Outreach team was able to host a Movie Afternoon, providing an opportunity for community members to relax, connect, and enjoy time together.

Activities like these help create welcoming spaces where people can build relationships, strengthen connections, and experience a sense of belonging.

We’re grateful for the funding that helps make programs and opportunities like this possible for women, gender-diverse people, and families. 💜
