October 14 | 11:00 – 12:30 PM | Off-Site at Assiniboine Forest (3000 Grant Ave)
Join us for a nature walk in recognition of World Mental Health Month.
This guided walk, led by CPAWS educators, will offer an opportunity to slow down, connect with the local environment, and spend time in nature. Along the way, participants will take part in guided reflections and journaling activities.
Spending time in nature can support both physical and mental well-being by helping to improve mood, reduce stress, support self-regulation, and restore attention. Building a deeper connection with the natural environment can also encourage a greater sense of connection to the places around us and inspire long-term care and stewardship.
Weather permitting.
All women and gender-diverse people are welcome!
